Word 2010 Basics
Learn how to enter, edit and format text in a document. Practice copying and pasting text, explore common features like spell– check and ClipArt and get tips on saving and printing files. Completion of the Computer Fundamentals series, or related experience, is needed.

            Thursday, January 10 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
            Registration begins 1/3

PowerPoint 2010 Basics
Learn how to create an electronic slide show, apply themes and styles, edit and format text, work with images and placeholders and view your presentation. Completion of Word Basics, or related experience, is needed.

            Thursday, January 17 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
            Registration begins 1/10

Excel 2010 Basics
Explore the parts of a workbook and learn how to enter, edit and duplicate data. Practice inserting formulas, formatting text, resizing columns, creating charts, renaming and deleting sheets and printing. Completion of Word Basics, or related experience, is needed.

            Thursday, January 24 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
            Registration begins 1/17

Resume Tips and Tools
Use a Word template in create a resume that effectively represents your skills and experience. Discover how to add and delete fields, format text and create a cover letter to accompany your resume. Completion of Word Basics, or related experience, is needed.

TECH TOY BOX SESSIONS
Wish you could spend a little time with the latest gadgets before you make a big purchase? Drop in and take a look at some popular eReaders like the Kindle Touch, Nook, Kindle Fire and tablets like the Samsung Galaxy  and iPad. Just play and explore. Staff will help answer questions and offer assistance. Demonstration only. No registration required.

St. Andrews TeenSpot Celebrates 
National Book Blitz Month
In honor of National Book Blitz Month, teens will have a chance to vote for their favorite between two books each week. Those that chose the winning book will be entered into a weekly drawing for prizes.



St. Andrews TeenSpot Presents “Dark Shadows” 
Monday, January 7 at 4:30 pm
An imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins, is set free and returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection.

Wednesday, January 9 & 23 at 4:30pm
Come on in and have fun with technology set aside for teen use. We have laptops for surfing or homework and also gaming with the Wii system. You can just chill or do home. It’s your choice.
