Call 843-805-6885 or email tlc@ccpl.org for more information or to register for these FREE classes. As a courtesy, please make every effort to arrive 5 minutes before class begins and call to cancel if you will not be able to attend the class. Patrons with their own laptops are welcome.


Internet Basics
Dive into the World Wide Web with Internet Explorer. Learn how to find a web site, navigate through web pages, evaluate web sites and use the Search and Favorites tools. Completion of the Computer Fundamentals series, or related experience, is needed.

Practice using Google and evaluating search results. Learn some advanced search strategies and how to interact effectively with web sites. Look at some social networking sites, including blogs, Facebook and YouTube. Completion of Internet Basics, or related experience, is needed.

Word 2010 Basics
Learn how to enter, edit and format text in a document. Practice copying and pasting text, explore common features like spell– check and ClipArt and get tips on saving and printing files. Completion of the Computer Fundamentals series, or related experience, is needed.

PowerPoint 2010 Basics
Learn how to create an electronic slide show, apply themes and styles, edit and format text, work with images and placeholders and view your presentation. Completion of Word Basics, or related experience, is needed.

            Registration begins 1/10

Excel 2010 Basics
Explore the parts of a workbook and learn how to enter, edit and duplicate data. Practice inserting formulas, formatting text, resizing columns, creating charts, renaming and deleting sheets and printing. Completion of Word Basics, or related experience, is needed.

Resume Tips and Tools
