Registration begins January 5
Type, edit and format text in a document. Practice copying and pasting, adding an image, saving and printing the document. Completion of Computer Fundamentals or previous experience is expected.

Basic PowerPoint 2016
Thursday, January 19 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Registration begins January 12
Design a slide show with formatted text, images and a design theme. Explore the various views and show settings. Completion of Basic Word 2016 or previous experience is expected.

Basic Excel 2016
Thursday, January 26 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Registration begins January 19
Create a workbook with formatted text, simple formulas and multiple sheets. Practice creating a chart and printing, too. Completion of Basic Word 2016 or previous experience is expected.

Unravel the mystery of the computer, and learn the parts of the computer, the difference between hardware and software, what an operating system is and how files are stored. Practice using the mouse and keyboard, too. No previous computer experience expected.

The mouse and keyboard are your computer’s communication tools. Learn how to click, double-click, click and drag, and scroll with the mouse. Then practice typing and editing text, numbers and symbols with the keyboard. No previous computer experience expected.

Learn how to create and format a basic table. Then turn it into an electronic form by adding text fields, check boxes, drop-down menus, and protection. Others will be able to add data without changing the table. Completion of Word Basics, or related experience, needed.

Resume Tips and Tools
Learn how to use a resume template in Microsoft Word to effectively represent your skills and experience. Discover how to add and delete fields, format text professionally and create a cover letter to accompany your resume. Completion of Word Basics, or related experience, needed.
