AARP Tax Help

Receive free income tax preparation and electronic filing assistance from AARP volunteers. A current picture ID and Social Security card are required, along with Social Security cards of any dependents. Assistance is first come, first served.








An Afternoon of Contemporary Poetry by Mr. James Johnson

Mr. Johnson, known as Jizzo Jay the Poet, shares works from his published book of poetry Heart of a Young Soldier.

Create your own small garden with help from Master Gardener Joan McDonald. All materials provided. Space is limited to 12 participants, and registration is required.

Learn how to enter, edit and format text in a document. Practice copying and pasting text, explore common features like spell-check and ClipArt and get tips on saving and printing files. Completion of the Computer Fundamentals series, or related experience, needed.

Learn how to use a resume template in Microsoft Word to effectively represent your skills and experience. Discover how to add and delete fields, format text professionally and create a cover letter to accompany your resume. Completion of Word Basics, or previous experience, needed.

Excel 2010 Basics
Explore the parts of a workbook and learn how to enter, edit and duplicate data. Practice inserting formulas, formatting text, resizing columns, creating charts, renaming and deleting sheets and printing. Completion of Word Basics, or related experience, needed.
